The Urban Computing 2022 school is the third in a series of three schools planned by the Metropolitan Digital Fabric – TDM project on the interdisciplinary theme of Urban Computing. During the three editions of the school, the discipline of Urban Computing will be declined on the themes of Big Data (2019), Visual Computing (2021) and Smart Grids (2022), respectively.
The third edition of the Urban Computing school focuses on the theme “Energy Transition in Digital Cities” with a focus on Smart Grids. The school is aimed at students, professionals, employees of businesses and public administrations, and citizens who want to learn more about urban computing and co-develop solutions to improve their cities.
The course is jointly organized by the University of Cagliari and CRS4.
The school takes place over five consecutive afternoons, from September 19 to 23, 2022, for a total of 20 hours. Registration for the school, up to the maximum number of available places, is free of charge.
The school will take place on the premises of the conference center of the T-Hotel in Cagliari, Via Dei Giudicati, 66. The underground parking in front of the hotel is available free of charge for participants.
