TDM at Eurographics 2018
The Eurographics Annual Conference is the major European conference covering the wide field of Computer Graphics, from rendering techniques to geometry and mesh processing, as well as computer animation and physical simulation. The 39th Eurographics conference was held on April 16-20, 2018 in Delft, The Netherlands. Delft University of Technology hosted the conference.
On April, 16th, Alberto Jaspe Villanueva (CRS4, Visual Computing group) gave a tutorial on “Voxel DAGs and Multiresolution Hierarchies: From Large-Scale Scenes to Pre-computed Shadows”, together with experts from Chalmers University of Technology (Sweden) and Delft University of Technology (The Netherlands). The presented techniques represent the state-of-the-art in rendering from compressed representations, one of the topics of the TDM project.
